Jeff Darnell Jeff will be taking on the role of Huglee in the feature film Birth of a Legend. Jeff is a native of Boaz, Alabama. He has lived in The Shoals for the last ten years. Jeff met his wife of ten years, Lisa while they were both seniors at Auburn. They have a two-year-old son, Jesse and a seven-year-old daughter, Kate. Jeff received his B. S. in Operations Management from Auburn and completed his MBA from the University of North Alabama. He is employed fulltime as a group supervisor for the Walgreens Customer Care Center. Jeff enjoys working in community theatre. He only has time to do a play or maybe two each year. Jeff doesn’t enjoy being center stage as much as he enjoys making a contribution to the finished product and to meet new people. Jeff had a role in the feature film shot in The Shoals area last summer, When I find the Ocean. He thought it would be for only one day but expanded into a week on the set. Jeff appeared briefly on screen but he was not listed in the credits, but he can be proud to say he was in the first feature film produced by Cypressmoon Productions.
We lost a great man this past year in Jeff. He is sorley missed by his BOAL family and by all who knew him.
