Jan Clemmons Jan has always wanted to be an actress, and she will be joining the cast of Birth of a Legend as Bystander III. Having graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1969, (yeah! You do the Math), going to Hollywood was not an option. After going back to school, later in life and graduating from UNA with a B. S. in Computer Science and Math, she has been driving back and forth to Huntsville, Alabama, working as a Civil Servant at Redstone Arsenal. Jan has two grown sons and one grandson and has been married to the same guy for thirty-five years. Her first chance to act came twenty years ago when her youngest son Nathan got into Gingerbread’s production of Tom Sawyer. She has appeared in several productions with Gingerbread and Florence Summer Theatre, since then. She is a member of the Zodiac Players having appeared with them in Arsenic and Old Lace and hopes to do many more now that she is an “empty nester”.
